Born on March 29, 1943 in Jackson County, Florida, he was the son of the late Coy David "Bo" McKinnie and Lois Gilley McKinnie.
Coy was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Billie and Bobby McKinnie.
He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Betty, Bruce, Judy and Lynda; his devoted daughters, Tracy and Pamela; his beloved grandchildren, Janie, Christina, Roger, Levi, and Lillie and his cherished great-granddaughters, Elowen and Callie. He will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and presence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the **Big Bend Hospice Foundation**, 1723 Mahan Center Boulevard, Tallahassee, FL 32308, in appreciation for the compassionate care provided during his final days.
Though he has left this earthly life, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Coy's life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
