Cathleen G Smart

Cathleen graduated from Norland High School and Miami Dade Community College. She worked as a Computer Tech. and built a dedicated career with the State of Florida.

Cathleen found steady joy in life’s simple, lasting pleasures—gardening, fishing, going to the beach, and especially camping. In these pursuits, she brought a quiet devotion and an appreciation for time well spent, whether outdoors or in the company of others.

Cathleen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Therese Garrison. She is survived by her husband of 49 years (Tom), and her brother George Garrison.

Known to many as Cathy, she was a loving wife and a cherished friend, loved by all who knew her. Her presence will be sorely missed by all the people she touched.

The family would like to thank Cileo Rose for the care and compassion shown to Cathy during her final days.

Interment will be done in Cooper landing, Alaska, on August 24, 2026.
