He was born to Frank and Edna Jones, in Chehalis, Washington. One of nine children, he grew up on a dairy farm in the Boistford valley. After graduating from Boistford High School he stayed on at the farm to help for a year before attending Centralia Junior College. Active is many sports, he was drafted into the Army in 1958 and was stationed at Ft. Lewis. Once discharged he attended Western Washington College while working in a Service station. He graduated with a B.A. Degree in Industrial Arts. From 1965 to 1973 he owned and operated the Union Oil Bulk Plant in Centralia. Washington. Two sons were born to him during this time. Later from 1979 to 1999 he owned Dry cleaners in Elma, Washington and later became half owner in a Dry Cleaning Plant in Tacoma, Wa. In 1982 he married his wife, Lorene, she had three children.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene, and children, Bruce (Launa) Jones, Keith Jones, Dalene (Brent) Martonik, Lynnell Hornbeck, and Chris (Brenda) Entus, Grandchildren, Aaron (Heather) Jones, Emily (Kody) Antisdel, Brendan, Heather (Brad) Johnson, Megan (Brandan) Kirby and 7 great grandchildren.
His Celebration of life service will be April 22, at 11:00 at the church he loved, South Lakeshore Christian Church in Tacoma, Wa.
He was loved by all.
