Sheryl was born April 28, 1940 in Glasgow, Montana to James William and Fannie Eugenia (Sperry) Mosley, Jr. Sheryl and her family moved to Gresham, Oregon.
She married Albert R. Monroe in Aberdeen on February 24, 1973. She was proud of being a mother to eight children, “mine his and ours.”
Sheryl worked as a telephone operator, head secretary in forestry at Weyerhaeuser, radio repair person, owned her own business Signs and Designs. Enjoyed camping, playing card games with family, crocheting, painting, drawing and beading. She could sing, play both piano and guitar. Sheryl and her husband volunteered with the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s office.
She is survived by her husband Albert of Montesano; daughter Jeri Lynn (Cook) Marc Quick of Alaska; sons Vance Jerry Cook (Janet Belcher) of Alaska, and James William Cook, of Tacoma; daughter Jill Kristi (Monroe) Patrick Sattler of Puyallup; step daughter Debra (Monroe) Bill Meredith of Montesano; step sons Alan Monroe (Karen) of Arlington; Richard (Hiroko) Monroe of Aberdeen and Dennis Monroe of Satsop; grandchildren Justin, Jeremy, Josh, James, Elisia, Cass, Tony, Josh, Chris, Ricky, Nicole and Cyndi; great grandchildren Sofia, Daelyn and Christian; niece and nephew Nina and Mark; she was preceded in death by her parents, sister Juanita and brother in law Walter.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
