Born in Washington, Paul spent his life rooted in the Pacific Northwest, where he built a quiet, steady life defined by kindness, humility, and a gentle spirit.
Paul worked as an engineer for Boeing, bringing skill, dedication, and integrity to his work throughout his career. Outside of work, he was a talented woodworker who found joy in crafting beautiful pieces with patience and precision. He also enjoyed photography and took great pride in tending to his garden.
In recent years, Paul faced significant health challenges with remarkable resilience and quiet grace. During his final days, he was at peace, surrounded by compassionate care and the comfort of knowing he was not alone.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Sara Stoops, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage. Their life together was built on love, companionship, unwavering devotion, and mutual care. A man of deep faith, Paul carried his beliefs quietly but steadfastly throughout his life, finding strength, comfort, and peace in them, especially during his final years.
He is also survived by his children and will be lovingly remembered by his extended family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him or supporting him during the final chapter of his life.
Paul will be laid to rest through Neptune Society. His family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and medical professionals who provided him with compassionate care and dignity.
In accordance with Paul's wishes, no formal service will be held. Those who wish to honor his memory are invited to do so in their own quiet way—through a moment of reflection, an act of kindness, or simply by keeping him in their thoughts.
Paul's gentle presence, quiet strength, and enduring kindness will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
