Born and raised in Burien, WA, Mike attended Evergreen High School, where he made friendships that lasted a lifetime. Known for his larger-than-life personality, Mike had a gift for lighting up any room he walked into. Whether he was playing the air guitar around the campfire or singing karaoke with his family, there was never a dull moment.
Mike was proud to be the father of five wonderful sons with Beth (Donohue) Ramsey. The boys have fond memories of camping trips, holiday traditions, fun-filled birthday parties, and so much more with their amazing dad.
Mike found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life: tying fishing flies, sharing stories with friends, spending time at his cabin in Hood Canal, golfing with the boys, and surrounding himself with loved ones.
Mike owned Ramsey Landscape Maintenance and later worked at Burien Bark. His strong work ethic and warm personality helped him build countless relationships in the community. He will be remembered not only for his hard work ethic but also for his humor, kindness, and ability to make others smile.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Ramsey. He is survived by his father, Jearld Ramsey; his brother, Craig (Lynda); his sister, Jenny (Mike) Stewart; his partner, Michelle Schulz; his five sons, Beau (Maile), Dylan (Leah), Colton, Sawyer, and Anton; his grandchildren, Logan and Bennett; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones who will carry forward his spirit and love.
