Born on Oct. 14, 1943, in Troy, NY, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Margaret (LeFebvre) Martini.
He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army from 1961-1964 and worked as a transit operator for King County Metro for 23 years, retiring in September 2021. He loved outdoors and beautiful views that the Pacific Northwest had to offer and made it his home for 25 years. He was an avid hiker and enjoyed riding his bike around Seattle. When his family visited, particularly his grand kids, he loved to take them around Seattle including the Space Needle and ride to the top of Mount Rainier. During his 25 years he became an avid Seattle Seahawk and Mariner fan.
Survived by his loving children, Michael Martini, Marla Martini and Keith Martini; sister, Lynda (Gary) Oliver of Cohoes; brothers, William (Kimberly) Martini of Troy, and Salvatore “Sam” (Susan) Martini of Cohoes; grandsons, Ty (Kelly) Bariteau and Andrew Martini; granddaughters, Devan and Briana Bariteau, Anna Martini and Julianna Martini; great grand-children, Iviana, Braelon, Cooper and Desmond; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a nephew, W. Scott Martini.
