Lynda Jo (Lynagh) Baker, 74, passed away on May 1, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, with her husband by her side.
Born on September 23, 1950, Lynda was the daughter of Donald Lee Lynagh and Laura Jean Vesey. She grew up in Ohio and was a 1968 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School in Andover.
On July 28, 1973, she married Frank Baker, beginning a loving partnership that spanned more than five decades. Together, they made homes in Kinsman, Ohio; Federal Way, Washington; Orient, Ohio; and Glendale, Arizona, before settling into retirement in Puyallup, Washington, in 2015.
Lynda was a woman of many passions. She found joy in gardening, traveling the world, crocheting, and her beloved Arizona Diamondbacks. She cherished every moment spent with her family, friends, and beloved pets. Her warmth, creativity, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Baker; her mother, Laura Jean Rheinscheld; her siblings Jacque (Jim) Brown, Lisa (Mark) Henderson, Beulah (Jerry) Tipton, Bruce (Nancy) Rheinscheld, Rick (Tami) Kondoff, and Ron Kondoff; brothers-in-law Tom (Elena) Baker and Richard Baker; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Lynda was preceded in death by her father, Donald Lee Lynagh; stepfathers W. Everett Rheinscheld and George Kondoff; and stepbrother William Rheinscheld.
Arrangements were respectfully handled by the Neptune Cremation Society.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
