Mr. James Earl Misenar Age 80 of Lakewood, Wa Peaceful passes Saturday 2/15/2025 at 1:35 pm surrounded by family & Friends at an Adult Family home. He is survived by daughter Ronda (John) Lique of Tacoma; son James (Zerenda) Misenar ofTenino, Wa; Grandchildren, Naomi (Jason) Clark of Logan, Utah, Elsa (Paul)Carona of Hammond, La, Jonathan (Heaven) Lique, Tony Lique, Daniel Lique, Maggie Lique, and Gary Lique of Tacoma, Trevor Westmark of Tenio,Wa; Great-Grandchildren Kyler, Korbin, Kaezli, Kamden, Kason, and Khloe of Logan, Utah, Adelynn, EvaDean and Hinckey of Hammond,La; Amelia Lique of Tacoma, Wa; Brothers Robert (Linda) Misenar, Daniel (Alison) Misenar, Benjamin Misenar of Graham, Washington; Sisters Julie (Nick) Nichols of Bovey, Minnesota ; Janice (Tracy)Busick of Puyallup. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Elsie Misenar; and Brother Edward Misenar Jr. He was a caring Father and Grandfather. Served in the Air Force, was a part of the boilermakers union, working as welder on Tacoma shipyards. Later on graduated for TCC with a degree in counseling. We worked for Greater Lakes as substance addiction, counselor, also ran a couple recovery homes for men. In his later years he worked as property manager. He was very involved with alcoholics anonymous and had been sober for over 40 years. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Legion a veteran association and Alcoholics Anonymous
