Gerald Lee Scott

Gerald “Jerry” Scott, age 80, of Bremerton, Washington passed away on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023 surrounded by his adoring family. His cherished children Teri and Doug Scott knew him as Dad; grandson’s Ryan and Maxwell Davis as “Buh”; and darling granddaughter Rilee Scott as “Poppa”. His dearest of friends had the pleasure of calling him Jere, and it would be his wish for all of us to celebrate the time he spent encouraging others to embrace their own unique creativity, patting friends on the back, shaking hands and giving warm hugs in his honor over tears (though we know there will be those too). His family extended well beyond his own creations to the wonderful hot rod community where he acted as a fabricator, upholsterer and mechanic (replacing more oil pans than we can count). He was a proud Old Timer, and when not procrastinating he would be found cruising in his 1930 Chrysler or his 1948 Sedan Delivery—too low for the coppers, but always in the sweet spot for his personality. His presence will be missed, but the legend remains!
