He would often visit Pierce County airport (Thun Field) just to watch the planes and the beautiful mountain he loved so much.
He will be remembered as a man who was loved and respected by many, would help anyone, and always had a smile, laugh, or a joke for those he would meet along the way while never asking for anything in return.
Dave will be interred in a private ceremony for immediate family at Fir Lane Memorial Cemetery in Spanaway, Washington with his predeceased family members. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at 1:30 pm. This will be at the Cedar Springs Community Church. God’s Garden
God looked around His garden,
and He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this
earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful.
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He also knew in Heaven
you would never hurt again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
and the hills hard to climb,
so He closed your weary eyelids,
and whispered "peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane, we'd walk all
the way to heaven, and bring you
home again.
