Darlene Ruth Bergstrom

After graduating high school, Ruth attended Beauty School and became a beautician. She used those skills for many years cutting hair for her family and friends. On 2/9/1963 Ruth Married John Bergstrom. They were married for 60 years before John’s passing in 2023. During those 60 years they lived in many states - Iowa, Missouri, Tennessee, Illinois, Washington and Arizona. She loved each state and made many life long friends. Arizona was the perfect place for them to retire. She loved the beautiful weather and spending hours at the pool talking with her friends. The card club was another favorite of hers. She enjoyed played Pinochle whenever she could.

Ruth was very blessed in her life with a loving family and many, many friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, feistiness, and being a great friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Ruth is survived by her son John, daughter Julie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother Ralph and sister-in-law Cindy, and many nephews and nieces.
