Cynthia J. Saling (Fultz, Parratt) was born in Lafayette, Indiana in 1956. She joined the Marines after high school and married Tim Parratt. She was discharged as an E-5 in May, 1978. She and Tim had two sons, Chris (Sherita) and Jim (Cami) and lived in Spokane, WA. She married Ron Saling in 2004. Ron’s children are Shawn Saling (Jenny), Brandi Ottersen (Guy) and Jenni Saling. Together she had nine grandchildren aged nine to twenty-two. Being a grandmother was her favorite identity and she loved them all so very much. She lost her battle with leukemia on April 19, 2023. She will be interred at the WA State Veterans Cemetery on May 25th with full military honors. Please donate to your local cancer center in lieu of flowers.
