Carrie Angelina James

Mrs. Carrie Angelina (Martelli) James passed away on October 22, 2016 at the age of 76. Her service will be held at the Yelm Prairie Christian Center, 501 103rd Avenue NE, Yelm, WA 98597, (360)-458-7564 on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Yelm Prairie Christian Center. Carrie was born June 16, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Luther High School in Iowa and came to the Washington area in 1967. She was previously married to Norman Jensen. She bore the mantle of the "Family Matriarch" for her extended family. Carrie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Thomas James, daughter Carrie Hurley of Omak, WA, daughter Christine Speer of Yelm, WA, son Norm Jensen of Spanaway, WA, son Christopher Garwood of Spanaway, WA, daughter Joni Martinez of Bronx, NY, son Thomas Charles James of New Jersey, NY, and son Shawn James of Forks, WA, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
