Born November 21st 1937 in Conway Missouri, he was the 5 th of 6 children born to Clyde and Eula Gann. He moved with his family to Seattle, Washington at the age of 14. Where he attended West Seattle High school graduating in 1956.
He died February 14th, 2025 at his home in Tacoma Washington.
He was predeceased by his parents, siblings and 2 nephews.
Bob was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He was a pressman for the Seattle Post Intelligencer (PI) for many years and finished his career with the Seattle Times, when the two newspapers merged, retiring in 1996.
He was an honorable, loyal and quiet man that enjoyed family and friends. He delighted in teasing and telling tall stories to those that would believe him
He kept himself busy with woodworking, gardening, being a farmer raising chickens and the occasional steer, he always looked forward to our road trips, crabbing trips up to Padilla Bay and playing cards with friends or tinkering with just about anything around home.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Ronda Gann, his son Trevor and his wife Lisa, his Daughter Tiffany O’Neill, 3 grandsons, David Levang, Chris Rogers and Taylor Gann, 1 grand daughter Ashley Ibey and her husband Tony, 2 great grandchildren Brooks and Riley Levang, mother and father in law Maxine & Norman Huffman, brother in Law Randy Dedmon, Sister in law Rory Lane and sister in law Robin Wood which he liked to call wife number two. Numerous nieces and nephews and a very large extended group of family and friends. He loved us all very much and cherished the lifetime of memories we had made together.
Those memories of him are ours now to keep in our hearts.
