You gave me so much wisdom, love and compassion over the years. From your counsel as a young kid going through the "toughest" times of my life, to the military/deployments, to marriage, to fatherhood and everything that has come with that. You have my heart always.

This  is Jeanne McPhail. I am Suzzane Farr's niece. She was 12 years old when I was born. Shes was always more like a big sister to me. I spoke to her the week before she died. I will say that we here are heart broken over her death although we knew she had dealt with many health issues over the years. She didn't let it slow her down. The last time I saw her was in 2012 when she came to see my mother while she was in the hospital. I have the rose bush she planted in my yard to remember her by along with the many treasures she gave us through the years  from her many travels. We corresponded via text on a regular basis. She and my mom were very close. We have all shared love and appreciation for animals. She was there for me during difficult times and loses in my life and my families with support and encouragement. She helped teach me to drive and always encouraged all of us with our dreams and goals. I will miss her especially around the holidays as we always exchanged cards, pictures and texts. We both worked in the educational field--she was a middle school teacher and I worked in Special ED. I have many wonderful pictures taken by her over the years as she loved photography.  Although we weren't physically present often she was always in our thoughts and prayers. Its been a difficult year for me as I have had to say goodbye to four dear senior  friends this year, teachers and friends from church and now my aunt. All her nephews and nieces here are very sad right now but we will cherish the many memories, pictures, visits, treasures, experiences forever that  we shared over the years.

The TN girls love Suz. She always showed up to our home with orange flowers and we had so many great conversations. We just feel blessed to get to know her over these few seasons in SCW. We only wish that we had more time with her. 💙

Suz, Bobbie Batey and I were teaching colleagues for years. Upon  retirement , we met monthly and  ultimately continued  our friendships in Sun City West. Her enthusiasm for life, compassion and generosity  were always on display, never more than when she  recently devoted herself to sharing caregiving of Bobbie in the last year of her life.  Our lives were enriched by hers,  and she  will be missed by many two/ legged and  four- legged friends!  Judy Kafka

What a journey it was to spend the last 30 years as chosen family. Your endless love and commitment to our family was the truest of gifts Miss Zanny. Your beautiful soul lit up every adventure, family dinner, and milestone in our lives. Transitions with you were easier and always provided good perspective and plenty of humor. You imparted your wisdom thoughout the years and I benefited from that over and over again.  Thank you for your unwavering love and support for Ana and Maya. Since day one you and Geri were constants in their lives. I am forever grateful for that and for your “staying power.” Now, rest in peace and know your value on this earth was unprecedented. All my love Zanny ❤️

She always made us feel special and we appreciate the short time we had with her.  We are thankful that our paths crossed and enjoyed our short time with her.

Suzanne was one of the kindest and soft spoken ladies I've ever met.  I'm proud to have been called her friend.  As we get older we realize a true friend is irreplaceable. And, that is Suzanne.

We will all miss Suz.  I am happy to have shared an occassional visit at our lunches and  texts with her when she was so kind and precious with her compliments.  Glad she dined with us in April so we could honor her at her last birthday.  She'd often surprise me with her sense of humor💛😇  Rest in peace Suz.

The reason she held on to life during these past 4 years without Gerri, their beautiful fur baby, Jasmine.

Suz had always wanted to visit & volunteer at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab. She loved the animals and felt Gerri’s presence so strongly in the sacred place. Photo: 10/13/26

Suz loved her baseball and we spent many hours watching together with friends.  she even taught little Maya when she was three to sing “Take me out to the ballgame” 
 
Suz will always be in my heart and I am so grateful to have had her in my life. She was always there for us to celebrate each others lives.

Suzanne was a special lady. She was and continues to be loved by so many. 
She will remain in my heart and mind until I  see her again. 
She is with her beloved and I am sure they are catching up.!
