She was known as someone who didn’t take any stuff from anyone and for having gorgeous, long legs.
Roberta loved her family and her dogs. She enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing, and listening to music.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and great-aunt to many.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Swineford; her daughter, Melissa Gunter, and her husband, Jimmy Gunter, along with their four children and three grandchildren; her son, Bradley Corder, along with his five children and two grandchildren; her brother, Leonard Smith; and her sisters, Roanna Smith, Rachelle Ziegler, and Esther Barton.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rebecca Roach and Ramona Davis.
May those who mourn find comfort in the words of Psalm 34:18: “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted.” May the memories of Roberta bring comfort in the days ahead, and may the love shared throughout her life remain a lasting part of those who knew her.
