Patricia Sophie Powell

Patricia Sophie Powell 87, of Anthem, went to the Lord Feb 22, 2025. Daughter of the late Paul and Edna Kubica, Pat was Saint Patrick’s Day baby in 1937 and raised in a loving household in Berwyn, IL. Her family relocated to Duluth, MN in 1958 where she met Jack L. Powell and began a loving partnership of 61 years.

In 1960, Pat and Jack left the Midwest for the sunny Phoenix Valley. Three daughters followed: Heather Ballem (Bentonville, AR), Susanne Dougherty (Glendale, AZ) and the late Deanna Lambert (Peoria, AZ).

The Lord blessed with Pat with five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.

After her homemaking years Pat re-entered the workforce, employed by Honeywell where she had several positions of increasing responsibility, including her important role as a technical writer.

Pat was a long-term and passionate congregate of the Cross of Glory Church (Peoria, AZ).
