Jack and I were sharing an attic in St Peter when he met the love of his life, Ruth.  He was a little concerned, because she came from a very religious family, and he hadn't been to a church since he was a little boy.  Obviously, their love for each other flew past any uncomfort that caused, since everyone who is reading this knows, his life, and his family's life took a dramatic but wonderful change from that.

Jack was a perfect roommate for many reasons, but one was i couldn't cook an egg, and Jack was an excellent eater, so he cooked all of our meals.

I also remember after college, Jack joined one of my Sunday morning beer drinking golf rounds with my high school friends at Lakeview golf course in Mound.  Jack had more beer one day than he needed, and turned over our cart, and almost killed us both.

Sorry we kind of lost touch these last few years.  Ruth, I know your faith will help you through this loss.  John Lesselyong
