Helen Eduvijen Cordero

Helen Puente Cordero of San Fernando Valley, CA, passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born on October 17, 1942, in San Diego, CA. She grew up in Tracy, CA. She married and moved to the San Fernando Valley until November 2024, where she moved and lived in Surprise, Arizona for 2 months, before she passed away.

She worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District before retiring and was actively involved in her faith of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She is preceded in death by her two sons, Albert Ramirez and Hector Jr Ramirez.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sylvia Ramirez and Maria Ramirez, 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Our Mother had a very special relationship with her grandchildren. On a regular basis she would call, chat, or text every one of them. She enjoyed social media, where she was able to keep up with everyone.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness: 14454 Fox Street Mission Hills, CA 91345, on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, at 1:30 pm.

A Gathering after the service will take place at the Knights of Columbus: 13308 Maclay St., San Fernando, CA, 91340, from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
