Georgia Lee Howard

Georgia was born in Oklahoma in February 1933 and raised in Arizona, where she later met her late husband, Joe. Joe proudly served in the U.S. Navy, which gave them the opportunity to travel the world during the first 20 years of their marriage. After their adventures, they returned home and made Arizona their permanent home.

Georgia is survived by her son, Russell Howard, and his wife, Julie; her daughters, Susan Howard-Duty and her husband, Larry, and Sandra Mazur and her husband, Thomas. She was a devoted grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great pride and joy.

A service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024. A reception will follow at the home of Susan and Larry Duty.
