William Isaac McNeely

84 of Lady Lake , Fl. went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2018. He was born September 13, 1933 in Tennessee. He always had a smile on his face and had the nickname Smiley. He worked for the steel mill. He then went on to work for Union Carbide . He was in the Navy for 8 years as a machinist mate 1st class on the USS Eldorado ACC 11. He received the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal (two stars), China Service. He was a deacon at his church . He was preceded by his wife of 61 years Mary, stepdaughter Sandy Noel, and stepson Robert Cope.

He is survived by his son Roger (Carolyn )McNeely, stepdaughter Judy (John) Schrader , brother John and a sister Margette

12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren. Final funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Neptune Society. He will be buried at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl.
