Walter "Buddy" Joseph Weber Jr.

Walter “Buddy” Joseph Weber Jr, 81 years old, Born July 6, 1945 and passed peacefully in his sleep after long illnesses on July 24th, 2026 in Homosassa, FL. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and he graduated from Hicksville Highschool.

He was a Navy Veteran stationed in Sanford, Florida and Kodiak Island, Alaska. He was known for his kind, gentle manner. He worked the flea markets and trained horses for many years. He retired in Florida, his hobbies were horse racing, riding motorcycles and raising his pets and chickens. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Joseph Weber Sr and Margaret (Baum) Weber, his nephew Matthew Knueppel and his partners son Chad Stefanski. Surviving members are his sister Barbara Knueppel (Art), his son Robert Weber (Carla), grandson Xavier Canavire-Weber and niece Kirsten (Tony Mogle), nephew Mark Knueppel (Hillary) and long term partner Connie Rutt and son John Stefanski.

Walter will be inurned at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on September 15, 2026 at 11am.
