Thomas Morgan Dawkins, died of chronic heart failure. He was in the Army from 1977-1988. He got out of the Army as a SFC, joined the National Guard and worked as a Civil Servant for the State of Florida on OH58 helicopters. In 1991, Thomas had an on the job accident and he broke his neck, after some surgeries and recovery Thomas later went to college at UF for his BA in Business Management. Thomas was a Social Worker from 2000-2020.
Thomas left behind a wife of 41 years Gwendolyn Dawkins, a son Mark Dawkins, daughter-in-law Krystal Dawkins, two grandchildren Wyatt and Marshall Dawkins. Thomas also leaves behind a brother Karl Dawkins of High Springs and two sisters Paula Price of Ocklawaha and Karen Colbert of Ocala.
