Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend
1940 – 2025
Sybil Ann Stranc, lovingly known as Ann, passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2025, following a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born Sybil Ann Stoddard, she carried her warmth, wit, and unwavering love for her family and friends through every chapter of her life.
Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Stranc, with whom she raised three daughters: Karen Mascioli (Michael), Susan Dinnien (Joseph), and Christine Barrett (Patrick). She later found love again and shared many joyful years with her second husband, Raymond Clark. Together, Ann and Ray enjoyed traveling—especially to the South during the winter months—and built a life rich in companionship and adventure.
Ann took immense pride in her family. She is survived by her daughters and ten beloved grandchildren: Master Michael Mascioli, Susan Priestley (Doug), Shannon Canning (Robert), Erin Barrett, Allison Barrett, Aidan Barrett, Kyle Morhardt, Lyndsey Morhardt, Christopher Dinnien, and Kyleigh Dinnien and four great-grandchildren Layla and Zoey Priestley, Lillyanna. and Logan Canning. Her love for each of them was as enduring as it was deep. She also leaves behind her cherished rescue dog, Baby, who was her constant companion and source of comfort.
Those who knew Ann will remember her gentle spirit, her boundless generosity, and her courage. She was always ready with a kind word or listening ear.
