Shirley Harris, 82, was born in Pearisburg, VA on September 26, 1936 to George Pyles Jr. and Elleene Lillian Pyles.
Shirley was married to Sheldon Harris on September 6th, 1958 and had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They have 2 children, Michelle Anne Boyes and Daryelle Denise Vowell. There are 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Shirley was a loving and caring wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed Duplicate Bridge, Fishing, Firearms and excelled in all.
She obtained the rank of Life Master in Duplicate Bridge and enjoyed playing in various clubs and online tournaments.
During their assignment to Mather AFB in Sacramento, CA. Shirley entered the Real Estate sales profession and enjoyed working with families purchasing and selling their homes. She and Sheldon traveled extensively after their retirement in May of 1991.
