Shirley Ruth Bouchard

Her family ancestry is a mix of English, Irish, German, and Cherokee Indian. She had one Sibling, a brother who preceded her in death. She had a very large family and many cousins she was close to over the years.

She served in the Air Force as a nurse assistant. Stationed in Waco, TX, she met and married the love of her life, Conrad F. Bouchard. A handsome young Airman from N.H. They were married on August 28, 1956 and were married 67 years.

While in high school, mom was crowned "Miss Twiggs County" and she was a talented basketball player. She was a wonderful housewife and mother, raising 3 children- who couldn't have asked for a better upbringing. During this time, she enjoyed playing tennis on a league. Later, she and dad enjoyed traveling the country in their motorhome for many years.

Mom was an amazing wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She loved her family very much and she loved life.

Praise you Father God for her life and allowing us to have her as long as you did. We were and are so blessed. Mom, 'Nini', you are greatly missed and so deeply loved.
