Ronald Edward Gliniany, age 78, of The Villages, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 4, 2023. Ron was born January 4, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is preceded in death by parents Edward & Anna Mae Gliniany and nephew Ryan Comer. Ron was a caring father, brother, and friend. Survived by daughter Sara (Beau) Bradfield; sisters Sandy (Gene) Stroinski, Cheryl (Ray) Tombarge-Soderlund, and Jeannie Comer; many nieces, nephews & other family. He served in the Army after graduating high school and retired from the MN Department of Education but continued to run his tax practice. He had a love of golf, enjoyed cruising, & doing sudokus.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday December 15, 2023, 10:00 AM, St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Cottage Grove. Visitation one hour prior to mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery 12:30 PM. Celebration of life at Lost Spur Golf & Event Center.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred: Hospice, American Heart Association, St. Jude’s.
