Norma Jean was born November 20, 1953 to the late Elijah Lee Hensley and Frances Eleanor Hensley. She has now joined her parents, her brother Jerry Lee Hensley, her niece Crystal Gayle Hensley, and her faithful companion Margarita in their Heavenly home.
Norma Jean had an incredible zest for life. She loved to travel and try new things, with the beach being a favorite vacation spot.
Her family would joke that she never knew a stranger, as she was friendly, kind, and extremely outgoing. Norma Jean worked for AAA for many years until their headquarters moved to Florida. She then worked for Fauquier County Schools as a school bus driver, then later in the Special Education Office. Upon retirement, she and Richard moved to Florida.
Norma Jean is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard King of Belleview, Florida, and her two sons, Ricky and Robert King of Warrenton, Virginia. She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Leister and Darlene Allison of Catlett, Virginia along with numerous nieces and nephews. Norma Jean will always be remembered for her tremendous and unfailing love for her family and her unending faith.
