

She graduated from Menomonee Falls High School in 1957.
Marlys worked as a beautician in the early years. She and her husband Bill owned and operated Grizzly Bill’s in Lac Du Flambeau for 15 years in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Lucille Adams, her brother Bill and her daughter Mary Beth Williams.
She is survived by her Husband Bill; sister Barbara Klein (Charlie) and her three children; Mike (Sue) Williams, Anne (Eric) Smith and Jeff (Jennifer) Williams seven grandchildren; Dayna (John) Ribnikar, Leslie Williams, Lindsey (Justin)Pruett, Matt (Carrie) Williams, Cathryne Jacobsen and Billy Williams (Stephanie Novela) and five great grandchildren; Isabella Williams, Courtland Williams, Lincoln Pruett, and Ollie and Nellie Ribnikar.
Marlys enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards, most of all, Sheepshead. She enjoyed doing crafty things like sewing and knitting, the Green Bay Packers, playing horseshoes, fishing on Amik Lake, cooking and sharing recipes and a well made Vodka Martini on the rocks.
The family would like to thank Syd, Dottie, Chris, Francesca and the rest of the staff at Chatham Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
A private family celebration of life will be held in August.
