Marie Diane Pink

Marie Diane Pink (Hazen/Klawender), age 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Crystal River, Florida on August 26, 2026, surrounded by the deep love of her family. Born on May 31, 1941, in Hamtramck, Michigan, Marie was a devoted wife, a deeply loving mother, and a treasured friend to many.

Her family was her greatest pride and joy. She spent her final days wrapped in the absolute comfort, quiet dignity, and warmth of their care—a true reflection of the love she poured into them throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Abner Trowbridge Hazen; her infant daughter, Pamela; her parents, Helen and Zigmund Klawender; and her sister, Carolyn.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Pink; her son, Scott and his wife Dana (grandchildren Scott Jr and Stephanie); son, Abner and his wife Robin (grandchildren Abner "Tro" and Maxwell); her daughter, Leianne (grandchild Zachary); stepdaughter, Rhonda and her husband Clint (grandchildren Katie and Kelly); step daughter-in-law, Betsy (grandchildren Steve and Allison); stepdaughter, Dana and her spouse Natalie; stepson, Timothy and his wife Kelly (grandchildren David and Rebecca); stepdaughter, Cynthia and her husband Bill (grandchildren Jon and Chelsea); brother, Dan and his wife Paula; brother, Mike and his wife Beth; her sister's husband Hank; and 25 great-grandchildren, dozens of nieces and nephews, and extended family.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the hospice care team for their compassionate support and guidance during her final journey. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
