Malcolm Roger Harvey

He leaves behind his sons Riley Harvey and wife Taylor WI, Christopher Glaves, Jason Harvey CA, Ryan Harvey CA, grandchild Ella Rose Harvey, siblings Linda Marlene, Malcolm Tyrone Harvey (deceased), Raybeth Harvey (deceased), Stasha McKnight, Jane Harvey, Trina Cormier all of Florida and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Malcolm attended St. Petersburg High School in Florida, University of South Florida before enlisting in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman. Naval Hospital Beaufort SC. 1968 was awarded the Outstanding Sailor Award. He was honored in 1969 as one of the Outstanding Young Men of America, nominated by his US Navy Commander for his exemplary professional performance, leadership, military appearance and adaptability that is considered in the highest tradition of the Naval Services.

Roger’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends and all those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. He was known for inspiring those around him, his compassionate nature, giving spirit and witty sense of humor.
