Lucille A. Quaranta (Ouellette) age 82 of Ocala, Florida passed away on August 12th. Born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Lucille was the daughter of the late Ernest P. and Lucinda (Ringuette) Ouellette. She lived and worked in Rhode Island until she retired as a bookkeeper in 1990 and moved to Ocala, Florida with her husband Joseph Quaranta.
While in Florida she loved spending her time with family and friends, and she enjoyed playing golf, mahjong, bingo and attending the Ocala Community Theater. Lucille will always be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her ability to make those around her feel special, and for her fun-loving spirit.
In addition to her loving husband Joseph, she is survived by her son, Steven Quaranta and his wife Linda of North Providence, RI. She also leaves one grandson, Anthony Quaranta of North Providence, RI. Lucille was the youngest of 13 children and is survived by her sister Lena Marcil, brother Roland Ouellette (Ursula), sister Jeanne Sanford (Peter), and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Edna Fisher (Clarence), Alice Suprenant (Phil), Anita Peao (Leon), Bertha Slowey (John), Lillian Driscoll (Dick) and brothers Ovila Ouellette (Laurette), Edmund Ouellette (Solange), Albert Ouellette (Frances) and Francis Ouellette (Jeannette).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 17 at Sacred Heart Parish, 58 Church Street, North Attleboro, MA. A private Interment for family will be at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Towne Street, North Attleboro, MA.
