Lois Ricketts Johnson, 76, of Ocala, formerly from Pennsville, NJ died peacefully on Saturday September 23. She was a breast cancer survivor and taken from us, too soon, by Alzheimer’s. Lois was born on August 18, 1941 to Paul and Ella Ricketts. She graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 1959. She worked for PSE&G from 1982 to 1998. Her hobbies included; traveling, quilting, sewing, crocheting, porcelain dolls, and golf. Lois was a member of the Ocala West United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Ella Ricketts; sister Janet Green; and son-in-law Robert Gary. Lois is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Lawrence Johnson; Children Terri Gary, Michael Thompson, Eddy Thompson (Tracy); step-children Vicki Snodgrass (Larry), Donna Passalaqua (Steve), Larry Johnson (Nancy); grandchildren Cindy Bilinski (Brian), Diana Karr (Matt), Travis Snodgrass (Maria), Christina Gary, Joshua Snodgrass, Amber McLaughlin, Samantha Garrison, Courtney Thompson, Skye Thompson, Ryan Johnson, Scott Johnson, and Lauren Johnson; great-grandchildren Kolton, Robbie, Payton, Jayden, Beau, Bryn, Josie, Bailey, Anthony, Jax, Gavin, Travis, Nathan, and Kenneth; brothers Paul Ricketts (Stephanie) and Gary Ricketts (Patty); brother-in-law William Johnson (Gloria); sister-in-law Pricilla Nichol (Gary); and her beloved dog, Shadow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Lois to Hospice of Marion, Inc. 3231 SW 34th Ave. Ocala, FL 34474. Interment will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
