Lemuel "Carl" Carlton Sellers

Lemuel Carlton “Carl” Sellers of Ocala (Crystal River) passed away August 24th, 2023, at the age of 67. Carl was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 8th, 1956 to Lemuel C. and Charlene L. Sellers. He served in the United States Navy as an EM3 from 1976-1980. After his time in the Navy, he worked with Cliff Little (stepfather) and his brother, Gordon in the HVAC business. In the early 1990s he went into business for himself creating the legacy of Carl Sellers AC and Heating and spent a total of 51 years in that trade. Carl loved his family, friends and if you knew him you knew he loved his Florida Gators. Carl became a father in 1992 to Chloe Sellers, who he was so proud of. Carl married Vikki Sellers in December of 2020 and moved to Crystal River where he enjoyed and lived out the rest of his life. Carl enjoyed spending time on the water, whether that was fishing, scalloping or just being on the boat. He spent most of his time outside, whether it be lounging in the pool, working on his property and mowing his lawn and having a cold beer with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Vikki Sellers, his daughter Chloe Sellers and stepchildren, John (Monica) Ingram, Summer Smith, Dianna (JC) Bass, Jeremy Taylor and Jacob Benoit. Multiple (15) grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Gordon (Donna) Sellers and Cheryl (Rick) Wilson and nieces and nephew. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Cliff Little and his sister, Patrice Sellers.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at 3pm.

It will be held at Wyomina Park Baptist Church.
