Larry was born in Bishop, Texas. He was proud to have served his country through the US Air Force active duty, reserve duty, and civil service until his retirement. He loved spending time with family and friends, worshiping and serving in his church, traveling the back roads across the US, playing and watching a variety of sports, playing cards with friends, listening and dancing to 50’s Rock-n-Roll music, driving his ‘93 Ford Ranger truck, and would never pass up a good dessert.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Prickett; children Alana (Rick) Myers and Sheri Cooper; stepdaughter Jennifer (Phil) Radloff, and “little” brother Carl Herwarth; grandchildren Wade (Kaylin) Delap, Tyler Cooper, and Savanna Cooper.
