He was a loving grandfather to his granddaughters, Taylor and Reagan. Kenny is also survived by his sister, Judy (George) Danielson, his brother, Michael (Sandy) Tynan, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
From 1961 to 1965, Kenny served in the military as an aircraft mechanic at Amsterdam Air Force Base, Holland.
After his military service, Kenny embarked on a successful career as an electrical contractor in Orlando, Florida. In 1983, he founded K&K Electric, Inc. which flourished under his leadership until his retirement in 1995. Kenny's expertise and passion for his work led to the continued success of the business still thriving throughout Florida today. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW 197), celebrating 57 years.
In his leisure time, Kenny enjoyed indulging in his hobbies. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed attending NASCAR races, traveling in his motorhome and loved family time at the beach. Additionally, he was a devoted fan of Illini basketball, took pleasure in a good book and had a talent for writing short stories that served as mini autobiographies.
For those who loved him, don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. The best things in life are the people you love, the places you've seen and the memories you've made along the way.
And as he would say, "Love You, Bye!"
No services will be held and in lieu of flowers or contributions, the family kindly requests your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
