Juanita S Lee

Known by family and friends as “SUE,” she was born August 9, 1942 in Winchester, VA. Sue was the fourth of five children born to the late Lester Douglas Mason Sr. and Ethel Virginia Hawkins Mason.

After the tragic death of her first husband, Carroll Gene Linzey Sr. , Sue moved to Tucson, AZ to care for her eldest sister. While in Tucson Sue made nursing her career and became a Registered Nurse in 1986.

Sue is survived by her son, James Keith Linzey of Troy, AL; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister Mary Lou Royston (Don) of Summerfield, FL; a brother, David Allen Mason of Luray, VA; a special nephew, Claude Allen Mason (Debbie) of Eatonville, WA; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Sue was preceded in death by husbands Carroll Gene Linzey in 1972 and, Jake Lee in 2015; children Carroll Gene Linzey Jr. and Tina Marie Linzey Kendrick; sister Katherine Louise Mason; and brother Lester “Buddy” Douglas Mason Jr.

Services will be held at a later date in Troy, Al and Tucson, AZ.
