George Warren Hopkins

George was born in Springfield, OH to James and Ora Hopkins on March 7th 1938.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will truly be missed. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family, fishing, and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. He loved magazines, books, and newspapers. He had a great sense of humor and loved teasing his little brats.

He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Helena CA-75.

He worked for Eastern Airlines in Miami, FL and as a Carpenter for many years in the Ocala, FL area.

George is preceded in death by his parents and four sisters; Beverly Bowen, Shirley Lambert, Peggy Crabtree, and Marlene Skelton.

George is survived by his wife Rita of 35 years, daughters Bambi (Rick) McQuaig, Alicia Babb, and Debbie (Rich) Crouse, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
