Gail Fetter was born January 23,1934 in Aurora, Illinois and left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on May 5th 2024. She had four siblings Kathy Saltz, Bill Saltz, Nancy Branz (Lanam) and James Lanam
Gail was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Norman Fetter. They had a love that lasted two life times and are happily reunited in heaven today. Gail was also preceded in death by her son’s in law Bob Scheel and Patrick Casey, Gail is survived by three daughters; Mary Kay Hill, Linda Scheel and Rachel Casey-Shope and one step daughter Julie Murphy (Fetter).
Gail spent years of her life doing the Lord's work as a missionary throughout the United States and South America. Gail often opened up her home to people that needed help and counseled women in need of support. Her work activities over her lifetime also included working as a beautician, COBOL computer operations, and she retired as the secretary of Environmental Services at Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
Gail was an amazing painter, cook, wife and most importantly mother. She was blessed with seven Grandchildren; Nicki, Jeffrey, Mindy, Matthew, Jonathan, Sarah, and Joshua. Gail was also a great grandma to ten grandchildren and a great-great grandma to one.
The family will be having a remembrance of Life, on June 1st at 11am at Church @ The Springs in Lady Lake, Florida.
May we all remember the wonderful moments with her, the things we learned from her, and the peace in knowing she is now rejoicing with Norm and with Jesus face to face.
