Eugene A Burbo

Eugene Alfred Burbo, 86, of Inglis passed away on August 10, 2017 at home. He was born on December 20, 1930 to Eli and Mary (Lamotte) Burbo in Burlington, VT. Eugene was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army serving 14 years including fighting in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. He married Diane Baker on April 15th 1953. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Diane Burbo; Daughter Arlene LaFountain; and sister Mary Santor. Survivors include grandson Hollis (Lori) Springer, Jr.; 6 great-grandchildren Kendra (Howard) Livingston, Deven Springer, Hollis (Jessica) Springer, III, Collin Springer, Nathan Springer, and Julie Springer; many great- great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and Jim (Julie) White and family. Eugene was an angel on earth and loved and cared for everyone he came in contact with. He helped anyone he could and never asked for anything in return. He will be missed by many.
