Elfriede Lewis

Private service will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida on August 9.

Elfriede Lewis was born on July 7th,1946 in Germany and passed on July 11, 2023, in Florida.

Surrounded and supported by family and loved ones. Elfriede was the beloved wife of Fletcher Lewis, Mother of Deborah (Lewis) Johnson and

Andrea (Thomas) Bokowy; Loving Grandmother (OMA) of Cameron Bokowy, Ashley Johnson, Colin Bokowy, Jonathan Johnson and Matthew Johnson.

Dear daughter of late Ludwig and Elizabeth Flick; sister of Dieter and Hans Flick.

Elfriede grew up in Kaiserslautern Germany where she met and married Fletcher who was stationed in the Air Force. Shortly later moved to the U.S.

in 1965 and was blessed to be married for 58 years. Her passion was to spend time with family and enjoyed gardening and had a love for animals.

In Lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the Humane Society for Animals.
