Claudette Marie Hunt

She was born July 6, 1939 in Uledi, PA, the daughter of Phillip Stout and Ila Friend Stout.

Claudette owned and operated Hilltop Ceramics. She also worked as a nursing assistant for many years at Uniontown Hospital before moving to Florida, where she was employed as the office manager at Southerland Place Assisted Living.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Phillip, and Ila Stout; husband, George N. Hunt, Jr., and Albert Whipkey, Sr.; brothers, James Stout, Joseph Stout, and Phillip Stout; sister, Patricia Roebuck.

Claudette was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Surviving are her children Kelly Joyner of Spring Hope, NC; Albert (Lynn) Whipkey, Jr. of Lemont Furnace, PA; Kimberly Kulesza of Parrish, FL; and Tracie (Robert) Ellis of Homosassa, FL; Grandchildren, Cory (Lucy) Berisko, Samuel Maas, Jessica (David) Douthitt, Wesley Hunt, Jacob Maas, Jaime Joyner, Joshua Hunt, Shelby Ellis, James (Brittany) Joyner, Jr., Brooke (Joshua) Bagley, Cody Joyner, Kenneth Whipkey; 11 Great Grandchildren; sister, Diane Milligan of Athens, TN; sisters-in-law, Peggy Stout, Joann Stout, Stephanie Stout, Sarah Smitley and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Bethel Baptist Church in Uniontown, PA.
