Charles A. Schimmel

Chuck is survived by his wife of 51 Years, Kari Schimmel, his son Blake G. Schimmel, his daughter and son-in-law, Jyl and Travis Lively, and his 5 grandchildren, Charlie, Marcus, Nessy, Jonas and Murphy, his sister and Brother in law Jan and Pat Forster, and his niece Ashley (Michael) Fitzpatrick and nephew PJ (Stephanie)Forster.

Chuck was a native of Chicago and graduated from Mount Carmel High School. He was a printer by trade before retiring to the Villages, Fl with his wife Kari. Chuck was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army, A former Vice President of the Notre Dame club of the Villages and an avid golfer.

A viewing is scheduled at 9:30am with memorial service immediately following at 10:00am on September 18, 2018 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Pl, Lady Lake, FL 32159. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Chuck’s life. Chuck was a longtime member of the American Legion and the family is asking in lieu of flowers that you make a donation to American Legion Post 347, P.O. Box 1534, Lady Lake, FL 32158.
