Charles Hassol, 86, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on May 30, 2026 at home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 19, 1940 to Ben and Shiela Hassol. He attended Lakewood High School in Lakewood, NJ before graduating from Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ. He was an award winning sports writer for The New Tribune in Perth Amboy, NJ.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; and sons, Stephen and Daniel.
Charles is preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Bob Hassol.
