Chuck was born in Clinton, IA on December 15, 1947 to Kenneth Louis Grimm and Alice Mae Mickelson and grew up in Grand Mound, IA. Like all the Grimm boys, he was mischievous and got into a lot of trouble.
Chuck met the love of his life, Betty Irene Nelson, in St. Louis, MO, and they had their first baby girl, Wendy Grimm. They moved to North Henderson, IL and had their second baby girl, Rebecca Grimm. He went to college at Carl Sandburg College to obtain his degree in computer science and then taught computer science at Hill Correctional Center for a short time. He enjoyed the horses we had at home. Chuck and Betty followed their daughters moving around the Midwest living in multiple places before becoming permanent residents of Florida in 2016.
Chuck was a truck driver with a sprinkle of computer teaching and strong base of Christian faith. He thoroughly enjoyed Bible teachings and being a leader in the community. He never met a stranger and genuinely loved people.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Jackie Kuehl, and brother Alan Grimm. He is survived by brothers Steve Grimm and Tim Grimm, his daughters, 2 grandchildren Patricia and Kenneth Grimes, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
