Barry S Mitchem

Barry Steven Mitchem of Belleview, FL born August 17, 1954 in Decatur, GA passed from this life July 18, 2021 surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held Friday July 23rd @12 pm at Eagles Nest Baptist Church, 4650 Eagles Nest Rd., Fruitland Park, FL 34731 with the family receiving friends at 11:30 am.

Barry was proceeded in death by his father Henry Mitchem and survived by his wife Kenna Mitchem, mother Doris Juanita Mitchem, and his brothers Kenney Mitchem and Philip Mitchem, 6 children and 14 grandchildren.

He was vice-president and co-owner of Henry Mitchem Equipment Company for 50+ years. He was an avid wings shooter, fisherman, scuba diver and was never more at home than when he was on the water. Barry deeply loved his family and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew him.
