Barbara Rose Norflus

Barabra Rose Norflus 91 passed away on Friday February 1st, 2019 after a lengthy illness in Mount Dora, Florida. Barbra is survived by her husband of 70 years Edward Norflus, her two sons Steven and Perry and four grandchildren Kimberly,Matthew,Katie, and Zachary.. Bobbie was born in New York City and raised in Norwalk,Connecticut after her parents Phillip and Fannie Goldberg moved the family when Bobbie was a young child. Bobbie is a graduate of Norwalk High School. Bobbie and Eddie moved to Marco Island,Florida in 1986 and lived there and in Naples,Florida until they moved to Lady Lake,Florida in 1998. They lived there until they moved to Tavares,Florida in 2015 where Edward still lives.

Bobbie had a great love of music in particular Frank Sinatra, Barbra Striesand , and the Big Band Era bands. Bobbie and Eddie will always be remembered for the way they shined on the dance floor. She also had a special place in her heart for the musical theater. Bobbie and Steven shared memorable moments on Broadway and going to see the touring shows when they came to Orlando. Bobbie enjoyed making geometric shapes out of the shells that she collected over the years from living on Marco Island and frequently gave them to her friends. Bobbie's friends remember her as a generous person and a true friend who was always there for them. Bobbies real love though was for her husband Eddie who she adored.

Bobbie was loved by all who knew here and will be missed.
