Alan Lee Bretz

Alan Lee Bretz was born October 17, 1954, in Dayton, Ohio where he grew up and later moved to Florida.

The country setting was Alan’s love, he was most comfortable riding a tractor and working the fields. Fishing was a passion for a time in his life, you could say he was catching more than fishing.

He could be a very funny guy, his sense of humor was endearing, his compassion captivating, his stability honoring, his intellect amazing, his demeanor calming, his presence reassuring.

A man who loved to watch John Wayne, imagining with Star Trek and living in God’s country the great outdoors, he was a cowboy at heart.

Alan leaves the legacy of three incredible sons, one amazing daughter, and eight beautiful grandchildren. It was a pleasure to know him and love him. He will be missed very, very much.
