Maria Luisa Francisco Bermudez

Maria Luisa Bermudez DMD, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.

Loving known as Malou, born on June 23, 1952, to Christita Villasin Francisco and Felipe Francisco Sr., in Manila, Philippines. Malou lived a life full of purpose, generosity, and joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Romeo Bermudez, and their daughters: Maria Clariza Bermudez, married to Hernany Fernandez Jr., and Emerald Bermudez Rogers, married to Justin Rogers. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Elias and Mathias Fernandez, and Alexander and Olivia Rogers.

Malou dedicated over 30 years to her career as a dentist, graduating from dental school at the University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay, owning and operating two successful practices in Stockton and Lodi. Her gentle care and bright spirit left a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues alike. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Malou found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—traveling to new places, bowling with friends, and crafting beautiful pieces through crochet.

Her strength, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Presentation Parish, 6715 Leesburg Place Stockton, CA 95207, followed by a reception at Guadalupe Hall at the same location. All who knew and loved Malou are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
